My name is mei ee.  My blog, using my initials, is about Life of ME.

Chen is my husband.  Our daughter, Xi Ning, was born in March 2012.  She is the inspiration for me to writing this blog.  In the past for a very long time, the thought of having my own blog comes and goes but was never materialised.  Only at the point when Xi Ning was about to born, one of my friends suggested that I should be writing down the details of the moments I spent with my girl.  Hence, I finally decided that I would have to start this or it will never happen.  So here it is.

 

Though my girl was the initial motivation for having my own blog, along the way, I have discovered much more reasons to doing this.  It is a space to capture all my joys, sorrows, doubts, puzzles, adventures and milestones events.  It is the bank where I deposit all my memories and stories, fearing one day I might not be able to recollect back all the mesmerising moments.  And perhaps after many years, when I look back to what I have written, I would laugh at myself and be grateful for everything that happens.

Through blogging, I have come to love writing.  It articulates my thinking.  I become aware of the various thoughts playing in my mind.  I found meanings to the things I do.  It is such a wonderful thing to do to translate the experience and thought into words.

Lastly, I hope through blogging, I would see myself transforming into a better and wiser me, and live a true life.
